FILA Tennis Social Club Fashion Editorial

FILA has a long history with Tennis, being the key sport of the brand globally. In Brazil, things could not be different. Instead of just presenting ideas based on performance, we also created a fashion editorial for the 2023 Tennis collection. The key idea was to present the same performance looks from the performance campaign with a fashion approach, exploring layers and a strong styling since this sport is getting more and more relevancy in the fashion segment. We wanted to also bring elements from the sport, such as the tennis court, the net, vintage rackets, a judge chair and other aesthetic elements from this sport.

Editorial Film

For our editorial film, we wanted to present a classy lifestyle from the tennis world. Similar to the images, the aesthetic was based on a regular day inside a tennis club, with a crew that have a “sporty & classy” style. All the scenes were previous draw with a basic storyboard that specified the photography angles, movements and acting from the models.

Still Images

The fashion editorials - similar to the campaigns - offer the possibility of capturing not only the products being worn by models, but also still images in a strong environment that connects even more with the concept of the collection. We used the same tennis court to shot a few still images with all the props from the editorial.

Visual Identity

FILA is known for it's grids and consistency in the use of the Helvetica typeface. In addition to that, applying the logo FILA LINEAR is a must in terms of communication. We developed a grid with a logo with the name of the editorial as well as a sutil juxtaposition to create some depth with the typeface applied.

Branded Material (Digital)

As part of the marketing team, we also plan and develop creative concepts of all the material that needs to be used by the marketing team and external partners inside and outside the company. For Fashion Editorials, FILA usually doesn't have a lot of in-store materials since they main goal is for digital/social media usage for our DTC and wholesale channels.
